HOSTORY is a business-to-business service. We do not collect personal data for advertising purposes, we do not sell your information to third parties, and we do not operate consumer-facing data pipelines. Everything we collect, we collect to respond to your enquiry and deliver our services.
Who We Are
HOSTORY is a hospitality revenue and perception infrastructure service operated by Flock de Travel, based in Kerala, India. We work with independent hotels, resorts, and experience-led properties to close the gap between operational quality and digital perception.
For the purposes of this notice, "HOSTORY", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Flock de Travel and its HOSTORY service. You can reach us at team@thehostory.in.
What We Collect
We only collect information you voluntarily provide to us through the forms on this website. This includes:
- Your name and the name of your property
- Your business email address
- Your property's location and room inventory
- A description of the primary challenge or bottleneck you describe in your submission
We do not collect payment information through this website. We do not use tracking pixels, behavioural advertising tags, or third-party analytics tools that profile individual users. We do not collect data from minors.
How We Use It
The information you submit is used solely for the following purposes:
- To review your application and determine whether a HOSTORY engagement is a fit for your property
- To contact you within 48 hours of submission if we proceed
- To reference during the audit and engagement process, should one begin
We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing. We do not add you to mailing lists without your explicit consent. If you submit a form and we do not proceed with an engagement, your details are not retained beyond the initial review period.
The lawful basis for processing this information is your consent — provided by voluntarily submitting the form — and our legitimate interest in assessing whether a professional engagement is suitable.
Storage & Security
Form submissions on this website are processed by Netlify, a third-party hosting and form management platform, and delivered to our internal team email. Netlify's privacy policy governs the handling of form data at the infrastructure level. You can review it at netlify.com/privacy.
We retain enquiry information for the duration of the assessment period and any subsequent engagement. If no engagement proceeds, form data is not retained beyond 30 days of initial submission. We apply reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect the information we hold.
Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes. The only circumstance under which information might be shared is where required by applicable Indian law — including under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 — or where strictly necessary to deliver contracted services with your prior knowledge.

This website does not use cookies for advertising, tracking, or analytics. Standard browser-level session behaviour may apply when navigating the site. We do not deploy Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any equivalent behavioural tracking tool on this domain.
